Early release days will be covering over 5 hours of care and will be $30 each, they are scheduled rarely on the current school calendar. Fee schedule may be adjusted and is flexible with prior arrangements made for sports practices, etc.

Any late pick up, over and above the agreed hours of care, may be charged as overtime, at the rate of $25 per half hour. For example 20 minutes late results in a $25 late fee, while 40 minutes late is a $50 late fee. Late pick up is not permitted. While we do understand that occasionally emergencies happen, repeated late pick ups will be grounds for termination of our services.

If your child was absent from After Hours, due to illness, appointment, etc. you will still be charged for the planned day of attendance. If you notify us on the Sunday prior to the attendance week of any planned absences, you will not be charged, for example for vacation or planned doctor visits. Out of courtesy to our staff and safety for our students, we appreciate you letting us know when your child will not attend After Hours on a scheduled day.

Students and parents must agree to abide by the Illness/Wellness policy of our school, including COVID policies. Please do not send a student to school who is feeling ill, or who has a fever over 100 degrees F. If you are called by our staff for an ill child, please make arrangements to pick up your ill student the same as you would during normal school hours.

After Hours is located within our LPS Secondary Campus classrooms, and the same LPS rules, regulations, and guidelines apply. These may be found in the Student Handbook, and on the LPS website. Staff of LPS may advise After Hours of any students in breach of the code of conduct regulations for LPS and any disciplinary actions for a student in the After Hours program. Those students under disciplinary action are subject to termination from our After Hours program, after review of information with the parent or guardian. All students must be in current “good standing” with LPS, and passing all their classes, or they may be terminated from After Hours.

After Hours students will be checked into and out of our program attendance App (Brightwheel) by our Adult Staff, the student may be released to the parent or authorized pick up contacts listed on registration paperwork only. If you need to add an emergency contact the parent must contact us directly via a known phone number and/or email address.
